The Story of The Name of The Wind PDF begins with the Chronicler, a story collector, at the Waystone Inn looking for Kote to see if he is the real Kvothe. Kote agrees and explains that it will take three days to complete the story. Each day forms one novel. Going back to the past, Kvothe starts from the start. His family was part of traveling performers, his parents being musicians.
One day, the troupe is attacked by the vicious Chandrian Demons leaving everyone dead except Kvothe. Lonely and heartbroken he decides to solve the mystery behind the murder and enrolls in the University.
Here he makes wonderful friends, finds himself in a romantic tangle with the beautiful Denna, and becomes renowned for his music. An attack similar to that on his troupe, at a wedding nearby, awakens his desire to solve the mystery. The novel concludes in the present at the end of the day.

Patrick Rothfuss received a B.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Patrick wrong The Name of the Wind over a course of 9 years, drawing inspiration from his personal interests, hobbies, and the various college courses he explored. The book, his debut, won him many awards and topped the New York Times Bestseller’s list.
