Children of Blood and Bone PDF is best suited as a young-adult fantasy novel. Adeyemi in her first book of the series follows heroine Zelie Adebola, as she was on her mission to restore magic to the kingdom of Orisha. Adeyemi, designed this novel after getting inspiration from books and novels like Harry Potter, West African Mythology, An Ember in the Ashes, and also with the Yoruba culture and language.

Adeyemi wrote Children of Blood and Bone ebook for about 18months and experienced 45 drafts. It is not wrong to say that this book is coming-of-age-story., as the aim of characters in this novel is to find out and discover their abilities, in order to shape the world through their actions rather by just words.

Plot Review:

When the night magic is disappeared, everything is changed. Zelie Adebola remembers the time when the soil of Orisha was hummed with great magic. But because the orders of the ruthless king, left Zelie without her mother, Maji was killed and leaving people without hope.

Zelie has one chance to bring back the magic to her beloved land. With the help of a rogue princess, Zelie can outrun the crown prince. During this revenge to bring back the magic in her land, Zelie has to control her powers and her feelings that are growing day by day for an enemy.

About The Author (Tomi Adeyemi):

Tomi Adeyemi was born on 1st August 1993. She is the best creative writing coach, and also Bestselling Nigerian-American novelist. She is best known for her bestselling novel of the time i.e, Children of Blood and Bone.
