Plot and Review:
Oliver Twist Epub is raised in a workhouse in the fictional town of Mudfog, born into poverty and misfortune. There is very little food provided to the children who work there; They hold a lotto after six months, and the loser asks for more gruel. Oliver has been assigned, so he goes to Mr. Bumble, the manager of the workhouse, and humblely asks for another serving. This alleged act of rebellion causes a great deal of commotion.
Oliver is transferred to Mr. Sowerberry’s employ after being released from the workhouse. Oliver’s mother is insulted one day by clumsy co-apprentice Noah Claypole, who gets into an angry physical fight. In search of a better life, Oliver flees to London.
